Shaun & Louise welcome you to Lacet House, a local slate built building located in the heart of Ambleside, within the scenic Lake District National Park.


A short stroll takes you into the town which offers plenty of choice for eating out from a typical fell walkers pub to a Michelin star restaurant.

Your stay at Lacet House in Ambleside offers easy access to a variety of walks for all abilities, with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and rolling fells. Lake Windermere is less than one mile away, here you can hire boats or take a trip on the Steamers.

Having lived in the Lake District all our lives we have plenty of knowledge and advice to help you make the most of your stay in Ambleside.
